•    DO NOT MOVE DURING USE - ALWAYS allow to cool before moving.

•    Do not leave the barbecue unattended when extinguishing the coals until they have completely cooled down to avoid personal injury.

•    Ensure the coals have completely burnt out and cooled down before removing the ash.
•    Store away ONLY when the barbecue is completely extinguished and cool.

•    Keep a fire extinguisher and water spray handy.
•    Hot fat may drip out at the bottom of the fire bowl so always keep feet clear.
•    If fire flares up due to dripping fat, douse flames lightly with fine water spray.

CAUTION! Always make sure the barbecue is fully extinguished and completely cool before applying any covers,

(not included), or storing away

– remember coals can remain hot for some time and could re-ignite under certain

conditions UNLESS fully damped down and/or extinguished.

CAUTION! NEVER STORE a barbecue indoors unless ALL coals and ash have been totally removed and thrown

away outdoors and all barbecue surfaces have been cleaned and are cool, otherwise this could lead to fire and/or

emissions of poisonous gases which could cause death.

REMEMBER - DO NOT use indoors! - For OUTDOOR use only.

Before Starting Assembly

The following are a few tips to help assemble the barbecue quickly and successfully:

Check that no parts are missing by placing all of the individual parts on an empty, flat surface (we reserve the right to

make minor technical alterations, such as the content of the small parts bag).

To avoid losing any small components ensure the assembly area does not have any cracks or openings.

Carefully sort out the small parts, as some of the screws and bolts, for example, are very similar and can be easily

confused.

Check all parts carefully and compare them to the

Parts List

Do not improvise missing or damaged components/parts.    If, despite careful factory checks, a component is missing,

please, in the first instance, call the MasterChef Helpline on 0844 809 4871.    If the  barbecue  is  damaged  or faulty

then replace all the parts back in the box and return to the

store with your receipt as proof of purchase.

Assembly tools are included. Only use other tools that are intact and suitable. Worn or unsuitable tools will not allow

sufficient tightening of the screws and bolts, and will damage them to the extent that they can no longer be turned.

Even if not experienced at DIY, it should take less than one hour when two people work together on the assembly.

Select a solid, level area with plenty of space that is clean and dry for assembly.

Always follow the illustrations in this manual to fit all joining parts (screws, bolts, nuts, etc) .

It is essential that the instructions are followed in the order they are specified.

Read the text for each step before carrying it out.
