Important: Read before starting!
We recommend reading all of these instructions prior to assembly and the relevant sections before each use. Follow
the steps in the order they are specified and please observe the safety warnings.
Failure to observe these instructions can affect or damage the barbecue and lead to personal injury.
These instructions should always be stored with the product and passed onto each subsequent user.
Check all the parts are included before commencing assembly. If any parts are missing please call the MasterChef
Helpline. If the barbecue is faulty or damaged ensure all the parts are back in the box and return to the
store with
your receipt as proof of purchase.
It is recommended this barbecue is assembled by two people.
Assembly tools are included.
As with any barbecue, care must be taken to prevent heat damage to anything around or underneath it.
Do not use water on the barbecue while hot as this will damage the finish.
Warnings
– take note of the following advice:
• Great care has been taken during production to remove sharp edges, but handle all components with care to avoid
possible injury.
• This barbecue is FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY.
• Stand the barbecue on a safe, solid, level surface, well away from flammable items such as wooden fences or
over-hanging tree branches.
• Do not install or use in or on recreational vehicles and/or boats.
• CAUTION! Keep well away from heat sensitive materials and objects.
• CAUTION! To avoid damage to property, ALWAYS place this barbecue on a surface which is suitably heat resistant
as it will get extremely hot during operation.
• CAUTION! To avoid injury always bear in mind the surface directly underneath this barbecue will get very hot during
operation and will remain very hot for sometime afterwards. Always keep feet, other limbs and all property/items well
away from this area.
• CAUTION!
Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or re-lighting! Use only firelighters complying to EN 1860-3!
• Never handle charcoal/briquettes after lighting.
• Keep children and pets away.
• An adult should always be in charge of the barbecue. NEVER leave a hot barbecue unattended.
• ATTENTION!
This barbecue will become very hot during operation.
• DO NOT touch metal parts of the barbecue until it has completely cooled to avoid burns. The barbecue handles will be
hot and unsafe to touch during use - wear protective heat-resistant gloves.
