FIRST START-UP
Place the
MiniEva, MiniEvaPower
or
MiniEvaLight
board on the DIN guide
or shunt box or light wall.
Connect wires as indicated in the diagrams but with the terminals removed
and not powered.
When finished wiring, power the system but with the digital inputs and
RS485 bus terminals removed.
Make sure the digital inputs are not powered and that there is no voltage
over 10V in the RS485 bus terminal (A and B) and that there is no voltage
over 18Vdc or ac voltage on +/- poles, if previously wired.
Voltage other than that indicated in the manual may damage the board.
If all steps were correctly completed, insert the terminals.
When the board is powered, the red led turns on while the green led blinks
once a second.
MiniEva, MiniEvaPower
and
MiniEvaLight
boards are delivered pre-
programmed with “Jog” functions on all 4 relays.
Each relay is associated with a corresponding input (IN1/Relay 1, etc.)
while inputs from IN5 to IN8 are not managed.
For different associations or functions, use
Lapis
software (see
Lapis
manual).
Please ensure the terminals have been completely and correctly
fixed!
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the board is powered and the red led remains off:
Ÿ
Make sure wiring is correct
Ÿ
Make sure there is voltage between 200 and 250 Vac in the power
terminal, between L and N
Ÿ
Make sure the 2 fuses did not trigger. To check, remove the cover. If
burnt out, replace.
If the board does not communicate with the PC or with
Vesta:
Ÿ
Make sure the red led is on and, if so, follow the steps indicated above
Ÿ
Make sure the green led blinks once a second. If it blinks faster, this
means that the board is in BOOT MODE (see
Lapis
manual). If the
green led is on or off, cut-off power from the board for about 10
seconds and turn back on.
Ÿ
Make sure RS485 bus terminal wiring is correct.
Ÿ
Make sure the BUS RS485 cable is not interrupted and connected with
either
Vesta
or
Clavis
Ÿ
Check the
Lapis
troubleshooting procedure.
If the digital input does not work:
Ÿ
Make sure electrical wiring is correct
Ÿ
Make sure there is not voltage other than those listed in this manual that
damage the input.
Ÿ
Make sure the switch or relay or clean contact work correctly
Ÿ
Check the
Lapis
troubleshooting procedure.
If the relay output does not work:
Ÿ
Make sure the yellow led turns on or turns off according to the associated
command
Ÿ
Visually check that the relay contact turns the adjacent led on or off. If the
relay contact does not turn the adjacent led on or off, the relay is
damaged.
Ÿ
Check the
Lapis
troubleshooting procedure.
If the problem persists after these checks, contact your dealer or
service center.
