Intended Use
This power tool is intended as a hand-guided pol-
isher for commercial use, for polishing jobs with suit-
able polishing agents in weather-protected environ-
ments using the application tools and accessories
recommended by Würth.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
This machine is also intended to be powered by a.c.
generators with sufficient power output that corre-
spond with ISO 8528, design class G2. Compliance
with this Standard in particular is not given when the
so-called distortion factor exceeds 10%. When in
doubt, inform yourself about the generator in use.
Mounting the gear housing
cover
Attach the gear housing cover onto the gear
head and tighten with the two screws.
Mounting the auxiliary
handle
Screw the auxiliary handle tightly onto the left
or right side of the power tool, depending on
the working method. For this, remove the
respective screw of the gear housing cover.
Changing the tool
Only press the locking button

when the
motor is not running.
Press the locking button

and keep it pressed
down.
Change the used polishing accessory or insert
a new one.
Press the locking button
2
and keep it pressed down.
Screw the polishing accessory tight.
Securing the work piece
Secure the workpiece adequately.
A work-
piece that is not properly secured can, for
example, cause the polishing accessory to jam
and kick back, fall and cause other hazards.
Initial Operation
Always use the correct supply voltage:
The power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate.
First check that the mains supply lead and
mains plug are not damaged.
Starting
After plugging in the mains plug, the angle polisher
can be started in any working position by subse-
quent actuation of switchpad

Hold the angle polisher in the desired working
position either at the rear (START A) or
front (START B), lightly pushing and holding at least
one of the 4 switchpads.
