An inexperienced rider always tends to use the rear brake only. This will result in
accelerated wearing and a longer braking distance.
It is dangerous to use the front brake or rear brake only as this will tend to make
skidding more frequent. Always try to use both brakes together and apply them
in an even manner.
The faster the vehicle is driven, the longer the braking distance will be.
Allows allow for this when estimating braking distances.
