After GParted scans the available storage devices, select last entry from the drop-down menu in the
upper right corner of the GParted window. Linux assigns storage drivers dynamically and in order.
The last entry in the devices drop-down menu corresponds to the new microSDHC card as long as it
was inserted after Linux boots. (On notebook computers with integrated SD card readers, look for
/dev/mmcblk0 on the drop-down menu). See

Before the partition table on the SD card can be modified, any mounted partitions must be
unmounted. Right click on each partition listed (new cards and those used in digital cameras,
MP3 players, and other electronic devices likely have only a single partition), and select
Unmount. See

Next, right click on each partition and select Delete from the menu (
