Function of each part
[1] Pump
Suction water from the water suction hose, pressurize water, and feed pressurized water to the
high-pressure hose and spray gun.
[2] Oil filler port
Pump lubrication oil is filled from this port.
[3] Oil drain
Pump lubrication oil is drained from here.
[4] Oil gauge
The level of pump lubrication oil is checked here.
[5] Water suction port
Water is suctioned from here. Connect the water suction hose.
Caution
Do not touch the male thread at the connection part with bare hands. It may cause injuries. Wear
protective gloves when connecting the thread.
[6] Discharge port
Pressurized water is taken out from this port. Connect the high-pressure hose.
Caution
Do not touch the male thread at the connection part with bare hands. It may cause injuries. Wear
protective gloves when connecting the thread.
[7] Unloader valve
This device is used to adjust pressure. If the water jet has been stopped during the operation, the pump
pressure (load) is reduced. Even after reducing the pressure (load) of the pump, high-pressure water is
sealed in the high-pressure hose, and spray gun. The unloader valve also serves as a safety valve.
Caution
Do not adjust the pressure as it has been adjusted at the factory. It may cause breakdown.
Tightening the adjusting screw of the unloader beyond the adjustable range may disable its
function as a safety valve and create dangerous situations. Do not forcibly tighten to screw of the
unloader valve.
[8] Water drain/air bleeder knob
When starting the machine, use this knob to bleed air from the water suction hose and pump to facilitate
suctioning water. Keep the knob open when the machine is restarted after a period of suspending
operation, as it makes easier to start the engine.
Use the knob to drain water before storing the machine.
Caution
Be sure to close the knob once the engine has started. Failure to do so may cause the pressure
does not increase due to water leakage.
[9] Frame
Frame of the machine.
[10] Engine
The engine drives the pump. For details, read the engine instruction manual carefully.
[11] Handle
Hold this handle when moving the machine.
Caution
Wait for the engine to cool sufficiently before moving the machine. Failure to do so may result in fire
or burns.
Do not tilt the machine more than necessary or take your hands off the machine while moving.
The machine may tip over and cause injuries.
[12] Speed control lever
Adjust the engine speed (pump speed).
[13] Stop switch
Place the stop switch to the
“OFF” (O) position stops the engine.
Turn the stop switch to the
“ON” (I) position allows the engine to be started.
[14] Choke lever
Close this lever when starting the engine, as it makes it easier to start the engine, if the engine is cold or
the ambient temperature is low.
