Introduction 

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems. 

A qualified technician should install and service this device. 
This device falls under protection class I. It is therefore essential that the device be earthed. Have a qualified person carry out the electric connection. 

Make sure that the available voltage does not exceed the voltage stated in the specif ications of this manual. 
Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage. Have an authorised dealer replace it if necessary. 
Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in use. H andle the power cord by the plug only. 

There may be some smoke or a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This is normal and  any smoke or smell will gradually disappear. 

Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device are not covered by the warranty. 

Keep the device away from children and unauthorised users. 

Do not direct the device towards anybody. 
Use adapted smoke liquid only and don't heat the liquid. 

Make sure there is always enough liquid in the tank; if not the device could overheat. 

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified people.

Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported. 

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. 
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks etc. 

Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty. 

Empty the tank prior to transporting the device. 

Installation 

a) Smoke Liquid

Please use non-inflammable water-based smoke fluid without oil or grease. 

Non-recommended smoke liquid may damage the machine and void the warranty. 

1. Unplug the device from the mains. 

2. Unscrew the cap from the  tank (on top of the device). 

3. Carefully pour smoke liquid into the tank; never fill over the "Maximum" mark at the back. 

4. Reposition the cap on the tank and close it firmly. 

Remark: Do not operate the device when the tank is open. 

b) Fuse

Only fit or replace a fuse when the device is unplugged from the mains. 

Replace a blown fuse with a fuse of the same type and rating: 

1. Unplug the device from the mains. 

2. Unscrew the fuse holder at the back with an appropriate screwdriver. 
3. Remove the old fuse and install a new one. 
4. Replace the fuse holder and fasten it with the screwdriver. 

Operating

    

Connect the adequate controller in the rear part of the device, depending on the chosen control.

    

a) Wire Controller

        Connect it and wait until the LED lights on. On this moment the fog machine is ready to work. Keep pushed the button to spray smoke. When the LED lights off, the inner relay will wait until the 
        temperature reachs the correct value, the LED will light on again and the device will be prepared to work again.

b) Timer Controller (MF 900 / MF 1500 DMX)

        Connect it and with MINUTE control, set the time intervale  (in minutes),when the 
        device will spray smoke  30 minutes max.). With the SECOND control, it is possible 
         to set the duration of the spraying in seconds ( 15 seconds max.). The quantity of 
         sprayed smoke is set with the VOLUME control.

Pull down in the arrow direction to tun on. The address switch shown on the diagram 
is preset as “1".

c) DMX-512 Control (Only MF 1500 DMX)

    This device uses 1 channel to spray smoke. Connect a DMX 
     controller in the DMX INPUT connector ( 1: GND, 2: -, 3: +)
     DMX OUTPUT allows to link with another DMX device. 
     Select the DMX starting address using dip switches. The
     address is set using the adecuate dip in order to compose 
     the address number (row: 1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256).
     For example: Address 25: Move to on dips 1,8 & 16.
     Increasing the value of DMX signal, the output volume will increase too.
