STEP 3: CONNECT MAGNUM TO INTAKE/OUTLET TUBES
Extend hoses to reach highest barbs on
Intake
and
Outlet Tubes
(Figure 9). Add 6 inches to this
measured length and cut hose. This is to avoid
cutting hoses too short. Trim hoses to size, if
necessary, leaving an inch or two of slack.
NOTE:
Leaving more than 6” extra length
may cause hose to kink or Magnum to
operate improperly.
Install
Hose Retainer Bands
2” back at the Tube
ends of each hose. Moisten ends of hoses and
attach
Outlet
and
Intake Tubes
(Figure 10). Roll
Retainer Bands
up onto fittings.
STEP 4: INSTALL CARRYING HANDLE
Attach Carrying Handle to protruding pegs on sides of Canister.
CAUTION:
To avoid water spills and leaks, check all hose
connections to ensure that they are placed securely with Hose
Retainer Bands where indicated.
!
OPERATION
Switch motor to

(Figure 11). This also
unlocks the Canister from the motor.
NOTE:
Unclip Intake and Outlet Tubes from
Retainer Bracket and remove them from
water to prevent spills.
Unsnap stainless steel
Clips

Canister Cover

Impeller Assembly
must be snugly fitted into
Impeller
Housing
and Canister free of any debris or obstruction.
NOTE:
On 350 Models, also make sure that Impeller
Magnet is tightly snapped in place (as shown in
Impeller Parts Assembly Inset pg. 5).
Replace Impeller Assembly and
Impeller Housing
. Three rubber
Gaskets (two large, one small) are provided. One large
Gasket
should rest on top of the
Impeller Housing
(Figure 13). The two
remaining gaskets will be installed after media has been prepared
