IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
A)
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS - This manual contains important safety and
operating instructions for the battery chargers. Read the entire manual before
using. Also read all instructions and cautions for and on the charger, batteries
and equipment in the vicinity of the batteries.
B) Do not expose the charger to rain or snow.
C) Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by Marinco may result in a
risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
D) To reduce the risk of damage to electric plug and cord, pull by the plug rather
than the cord when disconnecting charger.
E) Do not use an extension cord unless absolutely necessary. Improper
extension cords result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If you must use an
extension cord, make sure that:
i. The pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size and shape
as those of plug on charger
ii. The extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition
iii. The wire size is large enough for the AC ampere rating of charger as
specified in the table below
F) Do not operate the charger with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is
damaged, replace it immediately.
G) Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or
otherwise damaged in any way.
H) Do not disassemble charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire.
I) To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the charger from the outlet before
attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce
risk.
