Preparing the machine
for use
If you are using the machine for
the first time, use a brush or a
cloth and a food-grade surface
sanitiser, possibly HACCP
certified, to clean the rollers.
Let the machine dry completely
before use.
Do not use products other than
those recommended.
Insert the clamp (A) into the
appropriate hole (Fig. 1 ) to secure
the machine to the work surface.
Insert the handle (B), the tray (C)
and the hopper (D) making sure
that the latter is well centred
(Fig. 2 ).
Pull the adjustment knob
outwards and rotate it to the
desired position (Fig. 3 ). Choose
the type of finish you want to
obtain, following the tips in the
table. The initial position is no. 1;
switching to the following ones,
you will get an increasingly fine
result at each step.
Pour the grains into the hopper
and turn the handle clockwise
(Fig. 4 ). Before changing the
position of the adjustment knob,
make sure that the hopper
is empty and that there is no
unprocessed product left between
the rollers.
Care and maintenance
Do not wash the machine with water
or in the dishwasher. Never use
degreasers or products other than
those recommended.
After each use, remove any residue
with a dry brush.
Proceed using the food-grade
surface sanitiser as described in
the first paragraph.
In case of squeaking, put a few
drops of food-grade petroleum
jelly onto the ends of the rollers
(Fig. 5 ).
