. An “Enter PIN” prompt displays. Enter the PIN
(the default is 8888) and press “oK.” NOTE: To set a
new PIN, see Main Menu Functions/ Parental Control.

To initiate the Auto Search to find a program, highlight
“Automatic Search” and press “OK.” NOTE: The Manual
Search option should be selected only by users familiar
with all the available options and settings.
When the first warning prompt — “Do you want to start
Auto Search?” — displays, press “OK.”
When the second warning prompt — “do you want to
erase your previous channel list?” — displays, select
either “Yes” or “No” to start Auto Search. “Yes” will delete
the previous program list before Auto Search begins;
“No” will retain the previous program list and then initiate
Auto Search. Once started, Auto Search displays a
status screen to indicate its progress.
When programs are found in Auto Search, the channel
details are displayed for reference.
