The display on the front panel does not light up.
• Check that the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet.
• Check that the Power switch is on.
No picture.
• Make sure that the product is in operation mode.
• Make sure that the A/V cable is correctly connected to the TV.
• Make sure the TV is in A/V mode.
• Make sure that antenna cable is correctly connected to the device.
• Check the brightness level of the TV.
• Check the channel that is on air.
A “No signal” or “Bad signal” message appears.
• Check the connected device.
• Re-position the antenna.
No sound or poor sound.
• Check the volume level of the TV.
• Check the Mute status of the TV and the converter/tuner.
• Press the Audio button.
Poor picture and sound quality.
• Re-position the antenna (which can correct a screen image
like that shown at right due to a weak signal or bad connection).
• Make sure no frequency-generating devices are nearby.
• Use 75 ohm coaxial cable to connect the TV and antenna.
• The DVB-T LCD Converter/Tuner is a standard definition
receiver: Viewing high-definition channels can result in a
poor image and sound.
• Check that the correct TV standard is selected (PAl or
NTSC). The wrong setting can produce an image like that
shown at right.
The remote control doesn’t work.
• Make sure the remote is aimed at the receiver’s IR sensor.
• Check the batteries.
