Caring for your
bathing cushion
Mangar has designed and
manufactured award winning
bathroom aids for more than 30
years and is recognised for our
innovative inflatable assistive
technology.
It’s very important to us that
the bathing cushion is the right
piece of equipment for you, so
please take a moment to follow
some quick instructions to test its
suitability.
1. Charge
As soon as you receive your
bathing cushion put your Airflo
compressor on charge. We
recommend you keep it on
charge when not in use.
2. Green light means go
Once a steady green light shows
on the Airflo, you are ready to test
your bathing cushion. A green
light means once lowered into the
bath there will always be enough
battery power to raise you back
up again when you have finished
bathing.
3. Always dry test first
Connect the bathing cushion in the
bath pushing firmly on all suction
cups, checking they are secure.
DO NOT PUT WATER INTO
THE BATH.
Using the handset, inflate
the bathing cushion until it is
completely inflated and level with
the top of your bath.
Sit on the bathing cushion and
swing your legs into the bath. Then
use the handset to deflate and re
inflate the bathing cushion.
It may be useful to have someone
with you when you do your first dry
test run.
