While holding the 

baby securely with 

one hand, place the 

free hand around your 

back and take hold of 

the opposite arm star. 

Pull in a downwards 

motion.

Front carry with

waist belt

Pull it across your 

back. Repeat with 

the other side. 

When you have 

two strap   s across 

your back, keeping 

it taut, you can pull 

outwards to tighten 

the Pod around the 

baby’s back.

Place the straps 

under the baby’s 

knee on each side 

and tie a knot under 

the baby’s bottom 

securely. You can 

spread the shoulder 

straps over your 

shoulders for extra 

comfort as seen in 

POD instructions.

CHECK baby’s airways - are they free 

from fabric. Is the chin off their chest?

CHECK the fabric on baby’s back, does it 

feel secure, supportive and smooth? 

CHECK the baby’s legs positioning. Is 

the fabric supporting/under the baby’s 

knees? Is the baby’s legs in an ‘M” 

position?

Undo the knot under the baby’s bottom.

Holding the baby securely, let the fabric untwine and 

place the baby safely down. Unclip the waist belt.
