Unscrew the tube connector
from the underside of the measurement block.

Unscrew both connectors
from the needle housing
. One end is con-
nected to the tube, the other to the needle.
6.
Remove the ferrule
from the end of the needle
and also withdraw it from
the connector.
7.
Pull the ferrule off the end of the tube and remove the connector from the tube
.
8.
To re-fit the needle, reverse the process described. When seating the needle in
the needle holder,
ensure that the exposed needle length is precisely
50mm ± 1mm
. Failure to do this could result in damage to the needle. Do not
over tighten the securing bolt as this also may damage the needle.
9.
Referring to the
Measurement block tubing and connections
section, refit
the needle tubing to the measurement block.
Discard used needle and any tubing following the correct local waste disposal
procedures.

A needle housing
Sample needle
Two ferrules
Two connectors
Tubing
