Braking and moving
'Melanie'/'Nicole'

tors with single castor fixing. All four castors can be locked
(fig. A) or released (fig. B) individually with a locking brake,
using the foot.

Caution! The 'Melanie' and 'Nicole' care beds
can be moved to any height position permit-
ted by the reclining surface. This should only
be done in exceptional cases and under the
supervision of care staff. The fixation of the
castors should subsequently be checked in
order to ensure that the bed is in a braked
position after transport. The occupant's safety
is the top priority!
'Andrea'
The 'Andrea' model features a non-moveable frame insert.
Adjustment is achieved via height-adjustable plate stands
which can be screwed and unscrewed through a thread.
Caution! The 'Andrea' frame insert must not
come into contact with the bed's other compo-
nents. A stable position must be ensured prior
to operation. Before motorised adjustment,
ensure that no foreign objects are located in
the area of the lifting mechanism.
Caution! After alignment of the plate stands,
these must be secured using a lock nut. The
nut must be tightened accordingly using an
appropriate spanner when the frame has
been aligned.
