OPERATION
Charging the battery (not included)
a. To remove the battery (17), push the battery unlocking buttons (18) and pull the
battery backwards.
b. It is only possible to charge the battery in a temperature range between 0°C - 40°C.
c. Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the local mains volt-
age before you connect the charger.
d. After inserting the battery into the charger (20) the charging process begins as soon
as there is contact between the battery and the charger. Both the green and the
red LEd lamps light up continuously. The charging time is approx. 1 hour when the
battery is flat. The green LEd lights up and the red light goes out once the charging
time has been completed.
Laser
The laser (5) marks the desired cutting line on your workpiece. In addition, we recom-
mend that you mark the cutting line with a marker or similar.
Using the laser
The laser beam projects a red cutting line onto the workpiece.
•
The laser (5) is activated when the device is switched on.
•
Place the device on the workpiece in such a way that the saw mark points at the be-
ginning of the cutting line.
•
The laser beam must line up with the cutting line marked on the workpiece.
Setting the cutting height
Loosen the locking screw (6 of the cutting depth setting on the rear part of the saw. Hold
the support table (9) and pull the motor part up by the handle (4). Set the desire cutting
depth and fix it with the locking screw (14). The cutting depth should be 3 mm more
than the thickness of the workpiece.
Setting the parallel stop
Your circular saw includes a parallel stop (8). This makes it possible to saw in a straight line
parallel to the edge of the workpiece. There are notches in the front part of the support table
(9) in which the parallel stop (8) can be inserted sideways. Slide the stop (8) in until the de-
sired distance to the saw blade has been reached. fix the setting with the locking screw (7).
Setting the mitre
You can use the hand-held circular saw to saw mitre cuts to 45°. Loosen both locking
screws (14). Set the hand-held circular saw to the desired angle on the mitre scale (15).
fix the setting with both locking screws (14).
On/Off switch
•
Push the switch-on lock (2) and the On/Off switch (3) at the same time. Then let go
of the switch-on lock (2).
•
You can control the rotational speed progressively with the on/off switch (3). The more
you press the switch, the higher the rotational speed.
•
To switch off the power tool, let go of the On/Off switch (3).
Attention: After switching off the device, the saw blade continues to rotate for
some time. Risk of injury!
