IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Read all instructions carefully before installing and using the heater.
2. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or personal injury.
3. Remove the package and ensure that the heater is undamaged. In case of doubt,
do not use heater and contact your supplier.
4. Ensure that the supply cable and plug are undamaged. If the supply cord is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by a qualified person.
5. Do not let children play with parts of the packaging.
6. Check if the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.
7. Extreme caution is necessary when the heater is used by or near children or inva-
lids and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, un-
less they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli-
ance by a person responsible for their safety.
9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
10. Avoid using extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
11. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect with power source. Always grasp the
plug to pull out.
12. Do not insert any objects into the heater as it may cause an electric shock, fire
or damage to the heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater in any manner
while it is in operation. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air inlet or outlet in
any manner. Do not place on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may be-
come blocked.
13. Do not leave the heater unattended.
14. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot sur-
faces. Always use handle when moving this heater.
15. Do not use the appliance in potentially explosive environments in the vicinity of
inflammable liquids, gases or dust.
16. This heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations.
17. Do not use heater outdoors.
18. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
19. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal
cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by
the utility.
