3-2. Starting the App
Double-click the [Makita Industry Tool Settings.exe] file on the PC screen.
After a few seconds, the app starts, and the selecting screen for the “FT/FL series” app and the “TD/TW
series” app appears.
After clicking the “FT/FL series” icon, the screen below appears, and communication with the product
begins automatically.
Once a connection to the app is established, the flashing LED (indicator light) changes from yellow to green.
During the LED is flashing green, it means indicating that communication with the app is possible.
Note! While the LED is flashing yellow, no communication is possible. Return to step 3-1, or re-install the
driver according to the procedure in the “Supplement” section of the [Install Manual] in the [Makita
Industry Tool Settings] folder and check the connection. If communication still cannot be established,
contact your nearby Makita sales office.
