To cancel this function, press and hold the unit button (2) for
about 3 seconds until “OFF” appears on the LED DISPLAY. The
DISPLAY will switch back to normal time display.
NOTE
If you replace the battery, do not disconnect AC plug from AC
outlet. Otherwise, current time and alarm will be initialized.
RESETTING
If the system does not respond or exhibits erratic or intermittent
operation, you may have experienced an electrostatic discharge
(ESD) or a power surge that triggered the internal microcontroller
to shut down automatically. If this occurs, simply disconnect the
AC power cord and remove the system backup battery, wait for
at least 3 minutes and then setup the unit again as if it is a brand
new unit.
