Router Maintenance 

6.1

  Change Module 

 

⚫

 

The  MP3900X  series  router  supports  five  types  of  board  cards,  SPU  card,  MIFC 
card, fan card, RM3E card and RM2B card. 

⚫

 

The MIFC card does not support hot swap. 

 

6.1.1

  Change Power Module 

Preparations before changing 

Step  1:  Wear the anti-static wrist, and make sure the anti-static wrist is reliably grounded. 

Step  2:  Turn off the power switch of the AC power module to be removed (the switch is set to the 

"off" state). 

Step  3:  Unplug the power cable from the AC power module. 

 

 

 

⚫

 

When  moving  the  power  module,  please  hold  the  bottom  of  the  module  parts  by 
hand, and do not carry the module handle. 

⚫

 

The power module supports hot swap and can be replaced during operation. Please 
ensure safety. 

⚫

 

Do not touch any terminal marked with live line or possibly live line to avoid the risk 
of electric shock.
