Vehicle is fitted with 5 speed synchromesh gear box
& standard transfer case (in case of 4WD)

On these vehicle, the gear positions are marked on the
gear lever knob.
5 Speed Transmission with Transfer Case
It gives a choice of 15 forward & 3 reverse power
comibinations with the addition of standard transfer case.
NOTE :
5 Speed transmission & Transfer case require separate
lubrication for each unit as they have no cross over oil
passage. At each Transmission service check, the filler
plugs of transmission & transfer case should be removed
& the lubricant refilled to level if necessary.
