SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS
CLOSED LOOP SYSTEMS
In a closed loop motor test system, data is collected on a PC using Magtrol’s M-TEST Software, DSP7000 Programmable
Dynamometer Controller, and requisite interface cards and cables. Magtrol’s Model 6200 and DSP7000 Controllers compute and
display mechanical power (in horsepower or watts) in addition to torque and speed. A Single or Three Phase Power Analyzer, a
required component in a test system measuring motor efficiency, can be integrated into this system as well as Magtrol’s Temperature
Testing Hardware.
