3.7 Starting and Ending the Welding Process
• Determine the Coarse Adjustment “, Fine Adjustment” and Wire Feed Speed from the welding parameters
table of your machine according to the diameter of the wire you will use, the type of gas you will use and the
thickness of the material to be welded, and set your machine to these settings.
• You can start welding after making sure that you comply with all safety rules and take the necessary
precautions.
• During welding, instantaneous welding voltage will be displayed in voltmeter and instantaneous welding
current will be displayed in ammeter.
• After you have finished working with the welding machine, allow the machine to cool down and turn the
on / off switch to “0”. Unplug the machine and close the gas cylinder.

When not welding, leave the torch in such a way that it does not touch the workpiece, the welding
pliers, the hood of the machine and the trigger does not remain pressed.
