The options included in ‘Digital Out’

Select this if the connected device has a
built-in multichannel decoder that
supports one of the multichannel audio
format (Dolby Digital, MPEG-2).

PCM
}
Select this if the connected device is not
capable of decoding multichannel audio.
The DVD player will convert the Dolby
Digital and MPEG-2 multichannel signals
to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation).

Down Sample
You can enable and disable the digital
signal for better sound output quality.

Playback a disc recorded at the sampling
rate of 96kHz. This rate can only be

This option allows you to set the stereo

Select this to change channel output to
stereo which delivers sound from only the

surround sound effects.
