- Before connecting the appliance to the mains socket, make sure that the voltage indicated on its rating plate
matches the voltage in your socket.
- Check that the power cable is not damaged. If it is, have it replaced by an authorized service center to avoid
danger.
- Do not use the appliance in an industrial environment or outdoors.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquid (not even partially).
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains socket if you are not going to use it, if you
leave it unattended and before assembling, disassembling, cleaning or moving it.
- Use the appliance exclusively in the working position in places where there is no danger of it tipping over
and at a sufficient distance from flammable objects (e.g. curtains, curtains or wood), heat sources (e.g. stoves,
stoves, cookers) or moist surfaces (such as sinks, washbasins).
- Make sure that the plug of the mains cable does not come into contact with moisture. Do not place heavy
objects on the power cord. Make sure that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the table or touch
a hot surface.
- Do not disconnect the appliance from the mains socket by pulling on the mains cable. The mains cable or
mains socket could be damaged. Disconnect the cable from the outlet by pulling the plug of the network

- Do not leave the appliance in continuous operation for longer than 1 minute. Let it cool down for at least
2 minutes before starting it again.
- When handling the blade, removing it from the appliance, when emptying the container and when
cleaning, take extra care to avoid injury. The blade edge is sharp.

qualified, authorized and able to perform this type of repair. The coffee grinder must be handed over to
such a service in case of repair.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging material.
- Check if any parts of the product are missing or damaged. In case of any visible damage, do not use the
appliance.
- Thoroughly wash all parts that are intended to come into contact with food with warm water using neutral
kitchen detergent. Then rinse them under clean running water and wipe them thoroughly dry with a soft
cloth or allow them to dry freely.
APPLIANCE HANDLING
- Place the appliance on a flat, stable and clean work surface.
- Completely unwind the power cord from the storage compartment.
- Connect the appliance to a power source by plugging the plug into an electrical outlet.
- Remove the lid by turning it counterclockwise and then lifting it off.
- Place coffee beans or other food you wish to grind into the container. Never overfill the container.
- Place the lid on the container and then tighten it securely by turning it clockwise. The safety lock prevents
the grinder from switching on if the lid is not fitted correctly.
- Switch the electric coffee grinder on or off by pressing the ON/OFF button.
- Apply pulses of operation according to your desired level of coarseness of the "ground" coffee/food.
- After grinding, remove the lid and transfer the ground coffee/food into the pre-prepared container.
- Fit the lid back onto the grinder.
