Once you’ve determined if you’re using the “A” bracket or
“B” bracket, find the mounting plate (with the A or B
marked on it)… and attach it to the bracket. (Directions
for the Lipstick installation are later in this manual).
You will use three screws to attach either the “A” or “B”
plate to the bracket. These screws (and all other needed
hardware) come with the universal kit.
Now remove the screws that hold the shroud onto the dish
arm.
You will also need to remove the two screws that hold the
thin aluminum roller bracket in place.
Under the white plastic shroud you just removed, there will
be a loose coax connector to use for your TV connection.
Later on, you will run a coax cable from this coax connector
on the base of the MSS dish to the DirecTV receiver inside
of your vehicle.
