Checking transmission oil level with oil level sensor

The transmission is equipped with an oil level sensor. You can
read out the oil level and the oil level sensor errors on the
display in the operating panel for the transmission.
In order to read out the oil level without error, the following
conditions must be met:
z The MT is parked on level ground.
z
The transmission is shifted into neutral N .
z The engine is running at low idle speed.
z
The transmission output shaft stands still, i.e. the MT does
not move.
z
The operating temperature has been reached (see engine
coolant temperature display in combination display
instrument).
z The transmission oil needs to settle, which means that the
MT has not moved for at least two minutes.
