For cuts along and across the grain in soft or
hard wood:
-
TCT-circular saw blade Ø 160 x 1.6 x 20 mm (6
1/4 x 1/16 in. x 20 mm), 16 teeth
For cuts along and across the grain in soft or
hard wood:
-
TCT circular saw blade Ø 160 x 1.8 x 20 mm ( 6
1/4 x 5/64 in. x 20 mm ), 24 teeth
For cuts especially along the grain in soft or hard
wood:
-
TCT circular saw blade Ø 160 x 1.8 x 20 mm ( 6
1/4 x 5/64 in. x 20 mm ), 16 teeth
For cuts especially across the grain in soft or
hard wood:
-
TCT circular saw blade Ø 160 x 1.8 x 20 mm ( 6
1/4 x 5/64 in. x 20 mm ), 32 teeth
4.6 Saw blade change
Danger
Unplug the rechargeable battery for
all service work.
Remove the rechargeable battery. This
automatically blocks the shaft.
Using the Allen key 5 (bracket Fig. 1), unfasten
the flange screw 18 (Fig. 3)
counter clockwise
,
remove the screw and the front clamping flange
12.
Now you can remove the saw blade after
opening the retractable saw guard 13.
The clamping flanges must be free of adhering
parts.
Pay attention to the sense of rotation when
inserting the saw blade.
Afterwards, mount the clamping flange, attach
the flange screw and tighten it by
clockwise
turning.
Refit the rechargeable battery.
Do not pull out the rechargeable
battery while the machine is
running! The machine may get
damaged.
4.7 Riving knife/splitter
Danger
Unplug the rechargeable battery for
all service work.
The riving knife/splitter 14 (Fig. 3) prevents the saw
blade from jamming during longitudinal cutting. The
correct distance to the saw blade is shown in Fig. 4.
To make an adjustment, unfasten the two
cylinder-head screws 16 (Fig. 3) with the Allen
key 5 (Fig. 1) that has been enclosed in the
supply.
Adjust the riving knife/splitter by shifting it in its
longitudinal slit. Afterwards retighten the two
cylinder-head screws.
5 Operation
5.1 Initial operation
Personnel entrusted to work with the machine must
be made aware of the operating instructions, calling
particular
attention
to
the
chapter
"Safety
instructions".
5.2 Switching on and off
Switching on:
First press the lock-off button 1
(Fig. 1) and then press the switch trigger 2.
Switching off:
To switch off, release the switch
trigger.
5.3 Cutting depth adjustment
The cutting depth is continuously variable between 10
and 55 mm. (3/8 – 2 3/16 in.)
Proceed as follows:
Unfasten the clamping lever 3 (Fig. 2).
Through a recess in the stationary protective cover,
the unfastened clamping levers reveals the view on
depth scale 7. You can read the set depth off the
edge of the recess that is marked with an arrow.
Adjust the cutting depth by means of a scissor-
like movement between the stationary protective
cover and the base plate.
Retighten the clamping lever.
