Prior to drop-off, stick non-conductive tape (e.g. insulating tape) across the battery terminals and/or place
rechargeable batteries in separate plastic bags. Even a used battery can have enough energy to cause injuries
or to light a fire.

Troubleshooting
Warning
Risk of injury from a sudden start of the machine.
There is a risk that the machine starts suddenly due to carelessness when
working with the machine or during troubleshooting. The rotating saw blade can
cause serious injuries.

Determining the causes of existing malfunctions and their elimination
always require increased attention and caution!

Pull out the mains plug before you start troubleshooting!
Some of the most common malfunctions and their causes are listed below. For other malfunctions, please
contact your dealer or MAFELL Customer Service directly.

A long-lasting overload situation
caused the machine or the
rechargeable battery to overheat.
A warning signal sounds
(permanent beep).
It stops after max. 30 seconds or
after you have released the
switching button.
Allow machine and rechargeable
battery to cool down.
The rechargeable battery cools
down quicker in a charger with air
cooling.
Operating the machine with a
different battery while idling will
also allow it to cool down more
quickly.
The machine switches off upon a
sudden load increase.
The current required by the
machine also rises suddenly as
the load increases. This increase,
which occurs in the event of
sudden blockage or a kickback, is
measured and causes a
shutdown.
Release the switching button to
switch off the machine.
Afterwards, you can switch the
machine back on and continue
working.
Try to avoid further blockage.
