4.0 - MANUAL RESET
To reset the shut-off valve:
• Slowly open the upstream shut-off devices.
• Close the flow downstream of the valve in order to balance the pressure between upstream and downstream when opening.
DN 20 - DN 50:
(see fig. 1)
• Unscrew the reset knob and protection (
1
), turn it over and tighten the threaded hole “
A
” to the reset pin (
17
);
• Pull the reset knob (
1
) upwards and wait a few seconds for the pressure upstream and downstream of the valve to stabilise.
Next pull the reset knob upwards (
1
) until it hooks;
• Retighten the knob (
1
) to the initial position.
DN 65 - DN 150:
(see fig. 2)
• Pull the reset knob (
1
) upwards and wait a few seconds for the pressure upstream and downstream of the valve to stabilise;
• Next pull the reset knob upwards (
1
) until it hooks;
NOTE (for all versions):
If during the first reset attempt the valve remains open, try to decrease the calibration value of
the block pressure, loosening the UPSO adjustment screw a few turns (
11
), after this repeat the reset procedure.
