Managing Collections

To restrict access to a collection, follow these steps:

In the ColdFusion Administrator, click the Security tab and select Advanced
Security > Security Configuration.

Select the Use Advanced Server Security box.

Click the Submit Changes button.

Click the Security Contexts button.

Enter a name for the secured collection and click Add Security Context.

(Optional) Enter a description for the secured collection.

Select Collection on the Enable Security for Resource Types list.

Click Add.
You can then develop an appropriate authentication interface to allow access to the
secured collection.
