Assembly:
1. Insert brake stay

into the fitting groove at distance Y
from the sash rebate edge and screw in place on the hin-
ge-side with screw min. Ø 4 x 30 mm.
2. Turn handle into 90° position (turning position).

3. Engage deadbolt connection “under tension”. Cogging can
be used to set the braking force.
In the default setting, the notch on the tie rod coincides with
the adapter edge (see arrow).
A stronger braking force can be achieved by pulling the tie
rod out (max. two teeth!).
4. Screw the faceplate connection on both sides.
5. For item no. 229252, a recess with Ø 8 mm is
required under the latching bolt at distance X.
6. Timber: Insert frame component
B
at the rear flush in the
frame rebate and screw in place in a slanted manner with
screw min. Ø 4 x 40 mm.
PVC: Insert frame component
B
behind the profile upturn
and screw in place. Both screws must go through the
reinforcement.
7. Secure the arm of the brake stay
A1
with the latching bolt
by pressing into the frame component.
8. Install sash lifter and mishandling device, item no. 370922.
