h. Remove lynch pin from pin (J) in stand (K) at
right side of header.
i. Hold stand, and remove pin (J).
j. Reposition stand to storage position by inverting
stand, and re-locating on bracket as shown.
Re-insert pin (J), and secure with lynch pin.
k. Remove pin (L) from storage position in linkage,
and insert in hole (M) to engage float springs.
Secure with lynch pin.
l. Disengage lift cylinder stops.
m. Start engine, and activate HEADER DOWN
switch on GSL to lower header fully.
n. Activate HEADER TILT switches on the GSL in
windrower cab to position header angle at the
middle of adjustment range.
o. Stop engine, and remove key.
STEP 14. MODIFY HYDRAULICS
A. A30-S AND A30-D
The M100, M150 and M200 are factory
equipped with A30-S and A30-D header
hydraulics and electrical harness. Proceed to
STEP 15. CONFIGURE REVERSER VALVE
JUMPER HOSE.
The M205 hydraulics need to be modified to
accept an A-Series header, and kits B5491,
B5492, and B5497 should have been supplied
with your header. Install the kits in accordance
with the instructions that were supplied with the
kits. Then proceed to STEP 16. ATTACH
HYDRAULICS.
B. A40-D
I. M100
a. Open LH maintenance platform, and modify
valve blocks as follows:
1. Disconnect hose (A) from “DWA” port on
valve block (C).
2. Remove fitting from “DWA” port, and replace
with check valve (B), MacDon #167344. Do
not re-install removed fitting.
3. Connect hose (A) to check valve (B).
