What are the OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS of the event recorder?
The input voltage is 12V to 24V DC (9V min. to 30V max.). The operating temperature is -40
to 185 °F (-40 to 85 °C).
APPENDIX A. UNDERSTANDING THE LED STATUS BEHAVIORS
There are two LED status lights on the DC3P event recorder, one on either side of the interior-
facing lens. The LEDs provide status and warning messages through a series of solid or blinking
red and green lights. Use the table below to understand these patterns.

The event recorder is powering up (booting).
The warning light should go off within one minute. If not,
contact Lytx.

The event recorder is ready to record an event. This is the
desired state.

The event recorder is ready to record an event. Contact Lytx

An event was triggered and is being recorded.
The light will turn to solid red within 10-15 seconds. Additional
recordings may be triggered during this process.

Data transfer is in progress. Event files are being
downloaded. This may take several minutes, even up to one
hour in some cases, depending on connection speed and
number of files that are being transferred.

operating normally but is not available to record an event. This
may take several minutes, even up to an hour in some cases,
depending on the connection speed and file size.

contact Lytx Technical Support.
Blinking green
(irregular)
Any state
Unable to connect via cellular. Try moving the vehicle to a
different location to get a better signal. If the problem
continues, contact Lytx Technical Support.
Solid red Any state
An internal error may have occurred.
