– Tightly turn cords to the spool.
– Press both cords into opposite lying retaining
notches (19).
– Push the cord ends through the openings (20).
– Insert the cord spool (17) and spring (22) back
into the cord spool housing and pull both cord
ends gently until they spring out of the retaining
notch (19).
– Insert and tighten fastening screw (15) on cord
head (16).
When used for the first time, the cutting knife auto-
matically cuts the cords to the right length.

opposite must not be disposed of in the
normal household waste. You are obliged
to dispose of such devices separately.
Please ask your local authorities for infor-
mation on the disposal options available.
Separate disposal ensures that the device are sub-
mitted for recycling of other forms of re-use. This
helps to prevent harmful substances from entering
the environment.

The packaging consists of cardboard and appropri-
ately marked films, which can be recycled.

If something isn't working …
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting your
local store. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and
possibly money too.
If you are unable to remedy the fault yourself, please
contact your local store. Please be aware that any
improper repairs will also invalidate the warranty and
additional costs may be incurred.

duct so that it cannot be switched on by
unauthorized persons. Ensure that
nobody can injure themselves on the pro-
duct while it is stationary.

store the product unprotected in a humid
environment.

repairs can result in the product functio-
ning unsafely. This endangers yourself

Error/Faul Cause Remedy
Motor not running. Mains plug inserted? Plug in the mains plug.
Mains plug defective? Contact a professional.
Cord is not unreeling. Cord used up? Changing the cord.
Cord spool blocked? Eliminate the cause of the blocka-
ge.
