General safety information
The operator must read the operating instructions before
starting the pump and follow these instructions during
operation.
1. The pump tube may only be operated in an upright
position.
2. The operator must wear suitable protective clothing, face
mask or goggles, apron and gloves when transferring
hazardous liquids (e.g. caustic, hot, poisonous etc.).
3. Ensure that all connections and fittings are properly
tightened.
4. Note the limit values for temperature, viscosity and
density of the liquid being pumped.
5. Do not reach into the intake port of the pump.
6. The pump must not be allowed to run dry.
7. Note that the pump may uncontrolled restart after voltage
breakdown.
8. The pump is not allowed to be operated in explosion
hazard areas.
9. The motor must not be used to pump flammable liquids.
10. The pump may only be repaired by the manufacturer or a
duly authorized repair shop.
The national accident prevention regulations must be observed
without fail.

1.1 Danger associated with this machine
The submersible centrifugal pump type B6 is tested prior to
delivery.
In case of maloperation or improper use there is danger for
• life and health of the user
• the pump and other material assets of the user
• the efficiency of the machine.
All persons who are dealing with the installation/assembly,
starting, operation, servicing and maintenance of the machine
have
• to be accordingly qualified
• to exactly follow these operating instructions
