Wiring to an Occupancy Sensor

Wire color designations of the sensor:
Red = 20VDC
Black = Common
Blue = Occupancy Sensor Signal
•
Make sure that the supply breaker to
the digital ballast is OFF when wiring
•
Connect the three conductors to the
three digital ballast terminals as shown
Occupancy Sensor Compatibility
All LOS- models are compatible.
Occupancy sensors from other
manufacturers must meet the
following criteria:
•
Input Voltage and range includes 20V
•
Maximum Current Draw is 40mA
Contact Closure Output
The “R” model numbers represent
a contact closure output that can be
used for BMS or HVAC response
to occupant detection.
