foundation beams (T15, if included) will be assembled under the parapets at the sides of the entrance to the
terrace. They act also fastening base for the first floor board.
Two split logs (T5) will be assembled on the outermost foundation beams so that the logs are a little bit protruded
making possible to fasten the ends of the terrace boards to the foundation beams. Install the parapets according to
the drawings. Then set the floor boards (T16, furrowed side up) at even distance (about 1 cm between each
board) on the foundation beams and nail them. It's normal that the bottom of the floor board has wane on it. It's not
a defect but belongs to the product. The short floor board belongs between the parapets, to the entrance to the
terrace. Make sure that the board is firmly on the foundation beams. Note! If threaded rods are included, it is worth
to screw the first couple floor boards next to the wall. Then they can be unfixed to adjust the nuts of the rods.
Screw parapets of the terrace to the floor using the angle irons (T13). Then finish the parapets by fastening the
balustrades (T9, T10) on them and by assembling U-profiles (T11) to both sides of the entrance. Fasten the Facing
plank (T18, if included) in front of the foundation timber. Finally fasten the parapets to the building with four T12
boards.
It the window crosses of your model are unfastened, please nail or screw them to the door/window. Pre-drill small
holes about 1 cm from the end of the cross and fasten the crosses carefully (drawing 18). Note that about 10 mm of
the glass reaches into the door/window frame.
Some models has ready assembled crosses fasted with plastic cleats. These can be unfastened for washing the
screen.
Some models include equipment for locking the window open. The instruction for installing is in the bag of
accessories.
Windows and doors of some models have plexiglasses. They have protective plastic to avoid against scratching
during the production process. Remove it after assembling the window / door.
Treatment and painting must be done twice immediately after building up the house. It’ s very important to use
treatment fluid including protection against moulding and blue stain (please ask further advise from the seller of
the treatment fluid). Follow the instructions of the producer of the treatment fluid. The best result will be achieved in
dry circumstances when the temperature is over +5 ºC. Doors and windows must be treated from both sides. The
building needs to be treated also with protection against blue stain and moulding (specially the corners).
Treatments both in and outside must be renewed regularly following the instructions of the producer of the
protective liquid. Follow carefully the condition of the South side wall, because ultraviolet radiation effects more to
it than to the other walls.
In despite of the treatment, moisture can get in from corners, knots, splits and joints of the parts. If needed, you can
prohibit this with silicon, for example. Note that split knots of light log houses can let protection material flow and
