3. Assemble the operating knob and thread the square nut onto the start of the
thread of the knob. Slide the square nut into the corresponding recess on the
side of the sliding beam extrusion and locate towards the front of beam. Fully
tighten the knob by rotating in a clockwise direction Fig 3.3.
4. Attach the sliding beam to the mounting brackets using the
fi
xings supplied
(the mounting brackets are already
fi
tted to the saw body during the produc-
tion process) Fig 3.4.

3.4.3 SQUARING FRAME INSTALLATION
- Mount the squaring frame support bracket A onto the cabinet
- Insert the slider B into the swing arm and make sure the thrust bearing is
stay on it.
- Insert the support D in the groove of the sliding beam E.
- Position the swinging support B as shown in the
fi
gure; rest the frame G on
the support H.
CAUTION
The screw on support H must sit perfectly in the special hole underneath the
frame G.
– Level the table G, if necessary, turning the nuts I.
– Tighten the knobs F.
– Insert the square nut with the presser in the groove of the sliding beam E
and lock it onto the beam. When the sliding beam E is not used, lock it with
the locking knob.
3.4.4 TELESCOPIC RULER INSTALLATION
– Place the telescopic ruler on the table G, inserting the fulcrum K in the
hole.
– Position the telescopic ruler in such a way that the pin K
fi
ts into place
against the gib L. The gib L is adjusted by our technicians and is used to
rapidly position the telescopic ruler at the right distance from the saw blade
(only at a 90° position).
– For use, position the ruler referring to the plate J, move the coaster M into
place on the upright of the table G and tighten the knobs F. The ruler is
fi
t-
ted with an extractable telescopic extension N, which may be lengthened as
required after loosening the knob O.
