Where should I mount my
LSP?
The LSP can be mounted below, above, to the left or to the right of the
existing circuit breaker panel. Approximately 17”x24” of clear space is
required to accommodate a LSP above or below a circuit breaker panel
and approximately 17”x17” of clear space is required to accommodate a
LSP on either side of a circuit breaker panel (
NOTE
: modi

cations to the
LSP’s conduit will be required in order to accommodate mounting the LSP
to the left or right of the circuit breaker panel).
Can I utilize junction boxes
or combiner boxes to help
facilitate the installation of
my LSP?
Yes, you can use junction boxes, combiner boxes, or additional hardware
as needed to help accommodate your LSP installation so long as each
component is utilized/installed in accordance with national, state and local
code requirements.
Is my LSP compatible with
surface and
fl
ush-mounted
circuit breaker panels?
Yes, the LSP can be installed with both surface mounted or
fl
ush mounted
circuit breaker panels. Most surface mounted installation will require
extension brackets for mounting, which are provided with your LSP.
Can I utilize junction boxes
or combiner boxes to help
facilitate the installation of
my LSP?
Yes, you can use junction boxes, combiner boxes, or additional hardware
as needed to help accommodate your LSP installation so long as each
component is utilized/installed in accordance with national, state and local
code requirements.
What tools/equipment will I
need?
The LSP comes with mounting hardware and mounting brackets (surface-
mount installations) but installers will need the following tools to complete
the installation process (mounting and wiring):

Manual knockout

Wire stripper
•
Wire nuts (for 6 AWG & 10 AWG wires)
•
Screwdriver
•
Tape measure
•
Level
•
Drywall saw (

ush-mount installations)
Additional tools/equipment may be needed depending on the exact
installation scenario.
