Note: In scene modes, camera settings are automatically adjusted to suit the
selected scene, sparing you the necessity of adjusting each setting
separately. Only "SETUP", "IMAGE SIZE", and "QUALITY" functions can be
changed on the
menu.

Chapter 2: Taking Pictures and Recording Video Clips
"AUTO" mode is the simplest way to take pictures
without setting any functions. The camera auto-
matically chooses the optimal settings for the
shooting scene when the shutter release button is
pressed halfway.
