The recommended bolts for mounting the detectors to the stands are 
½  inch,  either  Grade  3  zinc  plated  steel  or  stainless  steel  or  better. 

Typical tightening torque is 69 ft-lb.

The opposing front outside corners of the stands should be within a half-inch of 

each other on the diagonal reading. Be sure to take the readings at the base of each 
set of stands (see figures below).
