Dear Customer,
LRP Electronic thanks you for choosing the Antix MT-1. LRP electronic models are sub-
ject to constant checks concerning material and quality. Nevertheless we ask you to
check your kit for completeness and intactness. We wish you much fun driving your car.
Please read the instruction manual carefully prior to initial use of your model. Should
you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your local dealer.
WARNING NOTES
Please remind the following guidelines for trouble-free driving-fun.
· Always take care that both car and electronics are not submerged in water. Avoid
driving through puddles and in the rain and never drive the car under water. Please
consider that when driving in wet conditions, metal parts like ball bearing or the like
may also be negatively affected. After driving in wet conditions, you should always
dry and the grease your car carefully.
· Do not drive your Antix MT-1 during a thunder storm! Mortal danger!
· Avoid running the car in crowded areas and near children.
· Do not run the Antix MT-1 on public roads.
· Always use fresh batteries for your transmitter and receiver to avoid loosing control
of the model.
· Turn Off receiver first, then turn off transmitter. This will prevent the car from loosing
control.
· Do not operate your car at night, or anytime your line of sight to the model may be
obscured or impaired in any way.
· Always run your car with the body shell mounted.
· When the model is behaving strangely, immediately stop the car and check for the
reason. Do not operate the car until the problem is solved. This may lead to further
trouble and unforeseen accidents.
· Do not put fingers inside rotating and moving parts.
· Please do not run in small or confined areas.
· Be careful with the motor temperature. It could be better to wait a few minutes after
every run to cool down the motor.
BEFORE DRIVING - INSERT BATTERIES
In order to put your Antix MT-1 into operation, you will need the following things in addition to
your package‘s content:
- 2x AA Batteries for your transmitter, f.e. LRP #78221 3000 mAh NiMH
1. Remove the battery cover by loosening the screw on the back of the transmitter with the
included screwdriver.
2. Install 2x 1.5V AA batteries (not included) in correct polarities.
3. Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
NOTICE:
When installing batteries, please be sure to match the polarities labeled on the battery
holder. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix different type of batteries.
CHARGING CAR BATTERY
Charge the battery of the Antix MT-1. In order to do
so, please connect the provided USB-charging cable
to a suitable 5V power-supply, for example a PC or an
USB-power-supply. Then connect the battery to the
charging cable. While the battery is being charged, the
LED of the charging cable is glowing red. When the bat-
tery is fully charged, the LED of the charging cable is glowing green and you can dis-
connect the battery and insert it into your car.
CONNECTING CAR BATTERY
- Loosen the locking of the battery cover of the car, then remove the cover.
- Connect the sockets of the rechargeable battery pack and the car in correct polarities, then
insert the battery into the battery compartment.
- Close and secure the battery cover again.
TURN ON TRANSMITTER AND ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL (ESC)
Switch on the transmitter first, before switching on the ESC After use always switch off
the ESC first, before switching off the transmitter. Always disconnect the battery pack
from the ESC after running your MT-1 After wiring up the speed-control, it is ready to
operate. No setup is required. The speed-control „learns“ the neutral, full-speed for-
ward and full-speed reverse points while the car is running. Please note: Before you
plug in the drive battery, the transmitter has to be set to neutral position and then the
model has to be started in the forward direction.
