SAFETY MEASURES
The Harmony chair’s assignment, its positioning adjustments and
mobilization maneuvers must have performed by trained professionals.
Caregivers must have received adequate training from an LPA Medical
representative or by a third party who has received such training before
using the chair. This instruction manual will be used as a reference for
continuing education. It is strongly recommended that a caregiver be
appointed for training and to maintain an up-to-date list of those who
have received it. For the patient’s safety, anyone who has not received
proper training should not be allowed to operate the chair.
APPLICATIONS
The Harmony chair designed for users in short-term care different units
in hospitals, it makes it easy to take specific samples and treatments.
The ability to deploy the backrest tilt simultaneously with the leg support
elevation is similar to the user’s experience with domestic recliners that
provide an elongated position of comfort and rest. This chair has been
designed for periods of sitting and in an elongated position for clients in
long-term care, palliative care and home care.
The Harmony chair is not designed to be cleaned with a pressure
washer or an industrial washing machine. Such practices can lead
to component rust and void warranties. In addition, LPA chairs are
not designed for outdoor use.
The Harmonie chair must be used with accessories specifically
designed for it by
LPA Medical Inc.
It must be used in accordance
with recognized health and safety practices.
