Connections
Before plugging in Stereo Headphones or a Microphone into their respective
connections on the Fanfare...
- Set the Volume Pedal to minimum.
- In the case of a Microphone, turn the
Microphone Volume knob all the way to
the left (minimum level).
- After plugging in the Stereo Headphones or
Microphone slowly increase volume to a
comfortable level.
Stereo Input
You can plug a portable music player (like an iPod) or other stereo audio
devices into the Stereo Input jack and use the Fanfare speaker system
to listen to music, and play along as well.
- Volume is only controlled by the device.
- Before plugging in a device be sure the volume control of the device is
set to minimum. Begin play and slowly increase the device volume.
Be sure to use a
Stereo Mini
1/8” plug for the connection.
Microphone Input
You can plug a microphone into the Microphone Input jack and use the Fanfare speaker
system to amplify your voice.
For best results use a Hi-Impedance Microphone with a
standard (mono) 1/4” phone plug.
Headphones
Plug in a set of Stereo Headphones and the Fanfare speaker system
is muted. Play your music in private, play while others are watching
television or reading, or play while the rest of the house is asleep.
For best results use good quality, stereo headphones with a 1/4” stereo
plug.
Line Out, Right-Left/Mono
These stereo line level outputs facilitate recording directly into a
recording device, or connecting to an external amplification
system.
When only the Left jack is connected, a mono signal of the
complete sound is sent out.
Line In, Right-Left/Mono
These two stereo line level inputs allow you to connect other audio sources (tape player, CD Player...) and
use the Fanfare’s speaker system to listen. Line In/Out Jacks are located on the back panel.
