Maintenance and Care
The following maintenance instructions are for qualified and trained staff only.
WARNING
Live parts will be exposed when covers are opened, or parts removed.
The machine is only voltage-free after the main power plug has been
disconnected! The machine must be free of voltage (-> disconnect main power
plug) for all replacement and maintenance works!
Alls works must be executed by qualified electro-technical staff who is familiar
with related risks, and relevant regulations.
In order to ensure safe operation, all works must be executed according to the
safety guidelines in the machine’s manual as well as the technical instructions
and guidelines according to DIN/ VDE.
3.8.1 Target Cleaning
Turn off the machine. Unlock the target door, and cautiously lift it out of the machine. Flip down the right and
left latch in the upper corners of the spider baseplate (spider DCR Board). Cautiously lower the spider
baseplate (spider DCR Board) to remove broken tips and dirt.
3.8.2 Cabinet Cleaning
Remove dust from the cabinet with a soft cloth. For heavy soil, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild
cleaning solution (for example, a dish detergent) and wipe the cabinet.
Do not use scrubbing sponges, alkaline or acid detergents, abrasive cleaner or volatile solvents such as
alcohol, benzene, dilution or insecticides.
Regular vacuum cleaning of the vent holes is necessary to ensure adequate ventilation.
