TRASPORT, HANDLING AND STORAGE
The machine weights and dimensions are given in chapter n°6.
The machine is packed in a cardboard box bearing the symbols and indications for
handling.
Is subsequently placed on a pallet and loaded on a container or wagon by means of an
adequate forklift truck.
The machine mast always is handled with the utmost care and caution.
Operators assigned to handling the machine must be qualified and adequately trained.
For storage of the machine, use dry ventilated rooms, and protect the machine with a
tarpaulin.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by operations that have
been performed incorrectly.
Procedures for unloading the machine by means of a forklift truck
Step 1. Unload the machine, still packed, from the lorry with utmost caution.
Step 2 . Rest the machine gently on the ground.
Step 3 . Remove the packaging and gently raise the machine with the forklift
truck, being careful not to damage it, until the pallet can be removed.
Step 4 . Rest the machine gently on the flat uniform surface and near as
possible to its final position.
