INSTALLATION OF ThE SKILLET MUST bE

Installation Instructions

LEvEL ThE TILTINg SKILLET

1. 

Make sure the pan body is horizontal. The hand crank will stop when the pan 

body is horizontal or parallel with a level floor. Use a spirit level to check the 

pan body level, from front-to-back and left-to-right.

2. 

Adjust one or more of the adjustable feet to level unit. Take weight off that leg 

and thread the adjustable foot up or down. Obtain help as needed to lift one 

corner or side of the tilting skillet, while the foot is adjusted. 

3. 

Recheck the pan body level and adjust feet as needed.

INSTALL OR MOUNT OPTIONAL ITEMS OR ACCESSORIES, IF ORDERED

1. 

For Optional Flanged Feet or Casters:

• 

Obtain help to lift one side of the Tilting Skillet. 

TIP

: Use a heavy foot 

stool or wood blocking to support the weight of the Tilting Skillet on the 

support frame cross-member.

• 

Use a heavy screwdriver and hammer (or mallet) to tap the adjustable 

bullet feet out of the frame support legs. They are a tight press fit.

• 

Position the optional flanged foot or caster socket into the frame support 

leg and use the hammer or mallet to seat the flanged foot or caster. 

Don’t bend the floor flange when setting the foot. 

 

NOTE

: Flanged feet are height adjustable and can be leveled by 

following the Skillet Leveling Instructions. 

• 

After the Skillet is positioned as desired and leveled, the flanged feet 

can be secured with floor anchors, per local codes and best practice.

 

NOTE

: If desired, all four leg tubes can be cut off (51-76 mm [2-3”] 

typical) 

to lower the work height of a caster-mounted tilting skillet

Leg cutting must be done by qualified personnel with professional 

tools capable of cutting heavy stainless steel tubing. All burrs must be 

removed from inside and exterior (ID/OD) of the cut tube. 

2. 

For Optional Faucet bracket Mounting:

• 

The optional Faucet Mounting Bracket will ship loose with the Operating 

Manual. 

• 

Locate the four screws on the side of the left trunnion box.  They will 

have four nuts that secure the screws in mounting holes.

• 

Remove the four screws and nuts from the mounting holes.

• 

Position the Faucet Mounting Bracket over the four mounting holes and 

secure with the screws and nuts just removed. 

 

NOTE

: A Faucet assembly and necessary water lines must be provided 

by “others” and installed according to manufacturer’s instructions and 

local plumbing codes. Make sure the swing spout clears the side of the 

pan body.

3. 

For Steamer Pan Insert Kit and/or Front-Mounted Pan holder:

• 

Optional Steamer Pan Insert Kits and Front-Mounted Pan Holders ship 

separately, in their own carton. Open and remove the carton contents.

• 

Steamer Pan Inserts may have gray/white protective plastic on stainless 

steel surfaces. Peel off all protective plastic and clean before first use.

 

NOTE

: If the Pan Insert(s) is not going to be used for food steaming, 

keep it clean and store it near the Tilting Skillet.
